Our family loves to travel! We visit theme parks, National & State Parks, and more! We love to get outdoors as a family.

We also love to help others experience the joy we've discovered while avoiding a lot of the mistakes we've learned the hard way!

Our Story

We grew up visiting Disney parks in the 80's and 90's as kids. Now that we have kids of our own, we wanted to share that magic with them. But Disney is a crazy place! What can we do? What do we need to avoid? What happens if our kid has a meltdown after waiting in line for an hour right before we get on a ride?

It turns out Disney has a lot of resources available for parents! So we created Ride The Teacups to share our experiences and tips with other families.

Why The Teacups?

When our family visited Disneyland, our oldest was 3 years old and our youngest was 3 months old.

We were in Fantasyland late one night after the fireworks in the middle of the week on a school night. The entire place was ours!

My oldest son decided he wanted to ride the teacups. And he rode it again, and again, and again! He spun with grandpa. He spun with grandma. He rode with his parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He rode so many times in a row, he finally ran out of adults willing to spin with him again!

So when we decided to create a YouTube channel about adventures with our kids, what else could we possible call it? This is the ride that started it all!
